In this workshop we will open our eyes and wet our underarms
with excitement about Astrology, and debunk astrology myths.
We'll learn the secrets of the universe, understand our
own astrological charts, and gain the tools to know if the
person wee are dating is our true soul mate, or just another
lay along the way. This workshop is for both for people
already well versed in the subject, as well as those know
nothing about it. Learn the truth behind Saturn Returns,
Mercury Retrogrades, Void-of-Course Moons, and why Scorpios
really are the sexiest sign.
Your experience will be greatly enhanced if you bring along
a print-out of your astrological chart - which is a graph
that shows the positions of the planets and astrological
houses in the sky at the moment of your birth. You can have
your chart made here.

Mask/Unmask:
Explore Who You Are on the Outside and Inside

In this workshop, we will explore who we are on "the
outside" and "the inside." What masks do we wear? What
do masks look like and what is underneath the masks?
Examples will be shown and
we will use art to explore our masks and unmasks.
Who are we under the mask? Can we love all the parts of
ourselves? Even the parts that we hate? The wounded, angry,
desperate, grieving, joyful, powerful, ecstatic parts? In
expressive arts (guided meditation, drawing, moving, writing),
participants are free to reclaim all the parts left behind
while growing up into a "responsible
adult" person.
Come and let your soul reclaim what it is like to feel
and to play. Art materials supplied. No previous art experience
necessary. This is not about making good art; this is about
developing a relationship with yourself from the inside
out.

Creating Work That Reflects Our Values & Vision

No matter what you call it - workin’ for the man, right
livelihood, nine-to-five, the skillz that pay the bills
– we all need to work. We spend a good chunk of our lives
at work, so we might as well choose work we love. As a group,
we will share our journeys and insights into the world of
work. We'll use visualization, drawing, writing, discussion,
and self-inquiry for empowerment and transformation. Participants
will create (and take with them) an intention statement,
a visual image, and an action plan for the next stage of
our work lives. We'll be inspired to adopt new beliefs,
take action, and prepare for profound transformation. Participants
will discover what is important and meaningful to each of
us.
We'll also examine work history, talents, successes, weak
spots and lessons learned. We'll translate this insight
into a clear and compelling vision of a new possibilities.
We'll identify and clear our limiting beliefs and our unconscious
agreements about work. We'll learn how to deepen and evolve
vision through directed thought, daily attention and practical
action planning. We'll discuss the signs of a toxic workplace,
"work" as a means to unleash creative potential
and transformation, the values of an empowered and authentic
organizational culture, and the the role of visionary leadership.
As the poet Rumi said, "Let the beauty we love be what we
do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground."

Dance Massage
Marcie Prohofsky
We'll journey together to sensual wholeness through the physical
landscape of dance massage. We'll combine contact improvisation,
therapeutic touch, and lots of love. And we'll learn how to
connect moment-to-moment in giving and receiving blissful
massage that's full of beautiful, unfolding fluid movement
and sweet caring touch. Slow down time, nurture your expanding
heart and whole body as you offer or receive touch that is
part lover, mother, healer, and dancer. Learn body rolling
as a foundation to this magical dance massage. In order to
create safety, we will begin with self-massage and intimacy
exercises as well as some massage basics and body rolling/contact
dance moves. Open to both single people and couples. Come
prepared to move in comfortable loose clothing, and bring
an open heart intent on giving and receiving. We hope that
participants will take away from the session some joy, delicious
inspiration, and new thoughts about time, space, and touch. |

How is Sadomasochism a form of energy work? In what ways
do dominance/submission arts help us recognize the divine
in another being? We'll take a cutting edge tour of the erotic
arts of "power exchange" set in a spiritual context. The
applications of meditation, astrology, the chakra system,
and yoga meet eroticism, sensual role play & kink for a Play-Full
experience. Participation is encouraged! Participants will
be invited to take part in the brief example exercises at
various points, though such exercises are totally voluntary
/ optional. |
